For more information on how to get started with the AWS SDK for Java v2, [see the documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sdk-for-java/latest/developer-guide/get-started.html).

1. Download the private release JAR file and note the version.
   - `aws-sdk-java-bundle-<version>-SNAPSHOT.jar`
1. Install the private release JAR file to your Local Maven Repository

   ```
   mvn install:install-file \
    -Dfile=aws-sdk-java-bundle-<version>-SNAPSHOT.jar \
    -DgroupId=software.amazon.awssdk \
    -DartifactId=bundle \
    -Dpackaging=jar \
    -Dversion=<version>-SNAPSHOT \
    -DgeneratePom=true
   ```

   - By default, the Maven Local repository is located at `${user.home}/.m2/repository/`. Consult Maven's [configuration guide](https://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-configuring-maven.html#Configuring_your_Local_Repository) for more details.

1. Include the SDK dependency in your project's `pom.xml` file.

   ```xml
    <properties>
        ...
        <aws.java.sdk.version>x.xx.xx-SNAPSHOT</aws.java.sdk.version> <-------- SDK version
    </properties>
    <dependencies>
        <dependency>
            <groupId>software.amazon.awssdk</groupId>
            <artifactId>bundle</artifactId>
            <version>${aws.java.sdk.version}</version>
        </dependency>
        ...
    </dependencies>
   ```
