# Private release usage for Ruby v3

For more information on how to get started with the AWS SDK for Ruby, [see the documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sdk-for-ruby/v3/developer-guide/getting-started.html).

1. Unzip the `AwsSdkRuby.zip` preview build artifact
2. Copy the service gem from the `gems` folder to the `vendor/gems` directory of your project: `cp -r ./AwsSdkRuby/gems/aws-sdk-<service> vendor/gems/`
3. Set the path in your **Gemfile**: `gem 'aws-sdk-<service>', path: 'vendor/gems/'`
